Practitioner Training RegistrationÂ
The total cost of Practitioner Training is $2200 plus any additional modules required ($350 each). To book in, you pay a $500 deposit plus the cost of additional modules. Final payment is due 30 days before the course start date.
Please add any additional modules required when you register:
- Hypnosis module is required if you do not already possess hypnotherapy qualifications.
- Childbirth module is required if you are not already a midwife, student midwife (2nd year onwards), doula, childbirth educator, doctor or nurse (with childbirth training).

PAY NOWPRACTITIONER TRAINING COURSE DETAILS
Our Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner Training is a 21-hour course. The Practitioner Course is run personally by Melissa Spilsted.
In the Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner Training Course, you will learn how to set up and run your Hypnobirthing classes with ease. As an experienced Adult Trainer, Teacher, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Hypnobirthing Practitioner and three-time hypnobirthing mother herself; Melissa Spilsted will guide you through the course content and teach you how to engage the participants of your classes. You will be provided with comprehensive hypnobirthing training and materials, that will give you the leading edge in your practice.
The course also includes information to help get you started in your hypnobirthing practice. By the end of your training, it is expected that you will have the tools required to confidently and successfully teach the Hypnobirthing Australia™ program.
The cost for our Practitioner training course is $2200.00 (incl. GST) plus any additional prerequisite course modules required which includes; all required Practitioner Training course materials (syllabus, lesson plans, scripts, birthing folio); advice on how to set up a viable and successful hypnobirthing business; expert training on how to engage your parents and enhance their learning experience; your first year’s membership fee (value $495); and your own listing page on hypnobirthingaustralia.com.au when certified.
Additional exclusive training materials such as PowerPoint presentations, modern birthing videos etc., are provided after certification requirements are met. You will be required to submit and pass the assessment, obtain a First Aid Certificate, arrange for your own insurance and sign the Practitioner Agreement before becoming certified as a Hypnobirthing Australia Practitioner and receiving full access.
Australian College of Midwives 21 CPD Hours Recognised Activity. For participants who are trained midwives, this training is recognised by the Australian College of Midwives (ACM).
Your first year of certification and membership fee (from the date of training) are included in your Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner Course (value $495). An annual renewal process, fee, completed Code of Conduct, valid First Aid Certificate (unless you have current medical qualifications), insurance and continuing professional development is required to remain certified to teach the program, have access to our teaching materials, ongoing support and keep your profile/listing page live on our website.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PRACTITIONER ENROLMENT
IMPORTANT
Please note that this course is only available to those who intend to teach the Hypnobirthing Australia™ Programs. The training and course materials are not to be incorporated into any other program or used to create alternative programs. This is a very strict term and condition for enrolment. *Cancellation Policy
The deposit and self-study modules (once dispatched) are non-refundable.
Refunds for the residual amount of the course will be granted up to 30 days prior to the start date of the training or the enrollee may choose to apply the tuition fee to a later class with the same instructor, forfeiting the right to refunds at the future course. No refunds or transfers will be granted following that date. Should the event be cancelled by Hypnobirthing Australia™, a full refund is applicable, less any materials/self-study modules already received by the delegate. The event organiser reserves the right to make alternative venue arrangements should the need arise, including running the course via live online webinar series course format.
